OUT OF THE BAG: INTO THE SPACE

Imaginative play sessions inviting children with their parents/carers in to an inclusive space, to experience the fun and magic of movement, story and sound.
Enjoy:
  • music & dance
  • props & materials: allsorts! Boxes & hats, socks, sacks, scarves & spoons…
  • dedicated time and space to play together in a creative environment

Led by experienced theatre practitioner Rebecca Fifield, each session will start with a tiny performance that opens up a world for everyone. It’s all about playing (with a strong chance that it might turn in to a little bit of theatre!)

​FRENCH FOR KIDS
Friday 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th March and 3rd April, 2.30-4.30pm
On our new five week course you and your littlies can expect to sing some original and traditional French songs, learn new lingo, play games and of course have fun whilst doing so! Each week has a different theme but will link back to the story of La chenille qui fait des trous (The very hungry caterpillar). All levels welcome.

We have two time slots: preschoolers from 2.30-3.15 and an after school club from 3.40-4.30. The cost of the course is £35. Discounts are available for siblings and to come to a one off drop in class £9. The price includes tailor-made activities designed by us to link with class content, a booklet containing the new vocabulary and songs we learn each week, healthy snacks for the children and of course a cup of tea/coffee for the adults.​

Relax, improve your posture, strength, flexibility, balance and concentration in a small, friendly group. Led by a highly qualified Pilates Foundation teacher with 16 years experience. Come along and give it a try!

This class is for those who have some previous experience of either Pilates or Yoga. Garuda encompasses the principles of Pilates, the breath work and Asana practices of Yoga and the grace of dance and Tai Chi. Improve your flexibility, strength, co-ordination and balance and bring about a sense of ease and well-being.

All Sally's classes run in blocks of 6 weeks and cost £60
Class sizes are limited, so booking is essential

​Postnatal Yoga with Mae
Babies welcome too!
Nourishing classes to help you regain your strength safely and restore your body after pregnancy & birth. Bond with your baby and meet other new mums.
Classes include movement, breath-work, mindfulness & relaxation as well as stimulation for baby in a relaxed and friendly environment.
Babies are welcome and will be incorporated into the class. If you have childcare feel free to come and enjoy some well-deserved time for yourself.
Classes are suitable from 6 weeks after vaginal birth and 8 weeks after caesaran birth, until baby is on the move.

OLD TOWN YOGA with Hannah

Hannah is a Hastings born, yoga teacher and owner of Old Town Yoga.
Her approach to Yoga is one in which encourages not only health and strength in the body but also a calmness and happiness within the mind. With her experience living in monasteries and ashrams around the world, she understands the importance of the individual practice, study and understanding of yoga in all it's wonderful forms.
Fully trained in Sivananda yoga (RYS 200), she creates a light, happy atmosphere, using the art of yoga to promote strength and happiness in mind and body. She is especially interested in how the mind can be aided by the yogic tradition and how this resonates in enhancing, kindness, happiness and joy in all aspects of life. Yoga being all about the journey rather than the goal, her classes are suitable for all abilities.
I am fully trained, insured, CRB check and first aid trained.

Class description:
This is a session of working the breath and the body in a way that will allow you to build up a sweat, detoxify your body and mind, become aware and in control of your breath and get your balance- in body and in mind.

Tuesday Life Drawing sessions once a month

The Tuesday Life Drawing Group will meet monthly, on the last Tuesday of the month, starting on 25th February 2020.Bring your own materials, but there's plenty of easels and boards here. It is run on a drop-in basis, so just turn up.
