I have been teaching yoga for 4 years having completed my teacher training in India in 2007. My discipline is Sivananda Yoga which has a core structure consisting of pranayama, sun salutations, classic yoga Asanas and deep relaxation, although i do like to vary the routine. Sometimes we work deeper and slower, and sometimes we work more dynamically. Students are always encouraged to work within their own comfort zone to bring about increased body awareness and alignment.
All classes finish with a final relaxation with lavender eye-bags to promote a deep relaxation.
