"I have an exhibition in France from 30th May until the 29th June at a vinyard near Angouleme. This is the first time I have exhibited abroad, although I have sold several paintings to French people; a new audience is a welcome challenge.
I am taking my 'Splash' series from this year with the large signature piece reminiscent of Hastings Seafront, shown successfully here at the Beacon in April in partnership with photographers the Lambie Brothers. Also to be shown are a series of oils on canvas started in 2004 featuring the late Bam Bam, as well as some more recent sketches and paintings of her.
The rest of the exhibition is made up from the 'Wild Hens and Dumb Cocks' series, passionate fantasy scenarios in oils on canvas, originating from the time of the breakdown of my marriage, but re-worked lately with slightly more calmness but no less passion."

" Au fin de mai, et pour le mois de juin, j'exposerai mes tableaux en France pres d'Angouleme . C'est le premier fois que j'ai expose en etranger, bien que j'ai vendu des peintures aux Francais.

J'include les "Splash" (plouf) oeuvres de cet an, qui sont pris en parte de la plage et du promenade de Hastings, et les jeunes au bord de la mer. J'exposerai aussi des toiles at des esquisses de mon chien Bam Bam, qui a mourit en decembre.

Les coqs et les poulets sont un fantasie prit de la prendre fin de ma marriage. Je les modifie recemment, en situation plus calme, mais avec tout passion."
