Venue Hire
The Beacon: three floors of family home above an arts venue, in an acre of garden with a lovely chalet and several artists studios, situated within a residential area. We have two large function rooms, one with a bar, suitable for creative workshops for a dozen or so people, and events for up to 80 people.
RATES
Workshops/courses:
Spaces are available at £15 per hour on a one-off or weekly basis.
Workshops are understood to cater for a maximum of 15 people.
Tea and coffee making facilities are available; workshop hosts are expected to supply their own tea, coffee, milk etc.
Parties
Small gatherings for up to 40 guests, the Beacon event space is available at £35 per hour.
Larger events for up to 80 guests, £75 per hour.
Parties run for a maximum of 4 hours (ie 7pm-11pm) excluding your setting up time.
We are licensed to sell alcohol and play music until 11pm.
